Instead, they have their own private listings which are again restricted only to the local area. So you need to inform them beforehand the locality that you want to aim for, and visit other letting agents in the region also to see another property that you may have liked, but is not accessible to your present agent.

3.    Tenancy agreement and formalities – Tenancy agreement could be a tricky one if you do not comb through each and every detail on it. You should be aware exactly what all are you liable for and what does not come under your responsibility. For instance, the fees to be paid to a letting agent are not your liability. It is the landlord who has to pay the agent. Therefore, also ensure that any amount hat is being demanded out of you is genuine and check in detail about it, maybe with friends or other neighbours around. Also, any additional request you make of the landlord, such as furnishings, any equipment, etc. should be clearly mentioned in the agreement to avoid any hassle later.
